New blog and thought I’d start with the first film of 2015 that I went to see in the cinema! Foxcatcher – starring Steve Carell, Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo – is a movie based on the chilling true story of Olympic wrestlers Mark and Dave Schultz, and coach John du Pont. The movie was driven by the outstanding performances from the leading actors, and although not the fastest movie, the slow pace was necessary to help portray the horrific and saddening story.
